The Complete Solution
The Aviator XL and Aviator XLT from C&G Systems are the perfect profile cutting solutions for small to mid-size job shops or manufacturers. Aviator XL/XLT include a CNC control, free standing or unitized cutting tables, plasma cutting system, plasma torch height control, and high speed drives.
Multi-Process
Base machine systems have been pre-configured with plasma systems from 40 amps to 200 amps. Thin gage sheet metal to 1” plate (25.4mm), Aviator XL/XLT can handle your plasma cutting jobs. For heavy duty cutting of steel, you may add one or two motorized oxy-fuel stations. A pneumatic air scribe may also be added for engraving bend lines or part numbers on the plate.
Plasma Productivity
Aviator XL/XLT deliver productivity. The PC-based Hypertherm EDGE-Ti or Burny Phantom ST CNC controls provide precision motion control for both high-speed plasma and oxy-fuel cutting. Arc-off time between parts is extremely short with a rapid traverse speed of 500 IPM (12,700mm/min.). C&G’s AVC Plus plasma torch height control system rapidly sets pierce height and maintains precise torch to plate distance while cutting, no matter what the travel speed.
Aviator XLT Unitized Design
The Aviator XLT’s heavy-duty welded tubular steel frame supports the unitized 72”x144” cutting table. Select either the air exhaust or water table design. For plasma cutting up to 1” thick, choose the down draft table design. High production heavy-duty plasma cutting and oxy-fuel cutting to 2” thick requires the water table design. A second unitized table extension of either design may be purchased with a new system or added later in the field.
Rapid Set-Up
Aviator XLT’s unitized frame ships completely assembled, so installation is quick and easy. The frame is leveled, cross beam set, tool carriage mounted, and the cables routed. You will be cutting parts within hours.

C&G Systems can provide you with a variety of professional CAD/CAM, and nesting software packages.
